Aerial View of Mt Adams, St Helens I took November 2020 flying home from Las Vegas.
Michael & Jack went back to Takhlakh Lake October 23rd, 2024 in the fall to fish again.
This time Michael caught a huge 25' Rainbow Trout, catch and release. It was a fantastic day at Takhlakh Lake
under Mt Adams. Michael and I went up for the day. Rain and snow before Thursday for several days and
projected again for over a week after Thursday. We hit it perfectly... a nippy 42 degree gorgeous Sunny day
with Mt Adams completely covered with snow. We only saw 3 other people in that campground all day.
This is Heaven on earth! My 9th straight year going up there. Check out all the pics.
I saw this for the first time with the late Uncle Alan Casey on this spot in 2016.
My wife and I favorite place for picnic and shooting pics of lake/mountain/birds/chipmunks.
Michael was going to hold up the trout for a picture, but it slipped out of his hands
Later we measured the net as he remembered how the trout filled it... aprox guess was 25"
Had fun shooting pics of the Grey & Steller Jays along with a Chipmunk.
Saying "Goodbye to Mt Adams! We will be back again in 2025!
